![]() ![]() I remember one minigame in particular involved Kirsten/Kristen having to put together her camera after it got knocked out of her hands as she was taking photos of a concert (the keyboardist of the band onstage had some kind of clue to the mystery or something). The minigames mostly had to do with solving the mystery, such as cracking codes, dusting for fingerprints, making forensic sketches, etc. These were also interspersed with the typical dialogue scenes that you'd see in a 2D NDS game (i.e., the game's characters standing still over a textbox of their own dialogue). The gameplay was mainly point-and-click, but there were also various minigames you'd need to play in each location to advance in the game. ![]() Although he could talk, he honestly didn't really do much apart from follow her around. I don't remember the name of her sidekick, but I do remember that he was a small, orange cat with a black eyepatch over one eye. ![]() She also had a cat sidekick who would tag along with her wherever she went. She wore a blue dress and elbow-length fingerless gloves. She had blonde, shoulder-length hair, and blue eyes. I think the girl's name was Kristen or Kirsten Sparke. The game that I played seems to be part of a larger series, as it ends in a cliffhanger where the girl wakes up in the morning to discover her father is missing. It was sort of a Nancy Drew type of game (although obviously not part of the Nancy Drew franchise in any way, or else I would've found it myself by now) where a teenage girl would solve a mystery in her town. I played this game on my DSi around 2010ish, so it's at least 13 years old.
